Word of the excellent quality of home-grown apples has long spread beyond the borders. 

Already every second apple is consumed outside of Austria. The main markets are Germany, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Spain and South-East Europe. Russia, Northern Africa and the Near East also love "frisch-saftig-steirisch” apples. 

EVA – based in St. Ruprecht – is responsible for the successful international marketing of the Styrian apple. After all, the export organisation was able to increase the export share of the apple harvest by 10 percent in 1995 and by 60% since then.  You can find out more about EVA here!

VON HERZEN BIOBAUERN is the brand name of organic fruit from Austria. Through the merger of the Austrian organic farmers, forces could be joined to look to the future. In addition, it stands for a whole new way of marketing Austrian organic products, as the VON HERZEN BIOBAUERN organic farmers are directly involved in the organic marketing community. Our OPST Obst Partner Steiermark GmbH subsidiary was able to considerably increase the products on offer over the last years.
